All you have to do from now till December 31st is watch the vids, keep track of your guesses for which vidder did each vid, and make sure to submit your guesses by the deadline. So here's some suggestions on how to make it a little harder for the contestants to identify your video. After all it's your style of editing that has to stay the same, anything else is fair game:You could possibly...+ Vid a fandom that you've never vidded before. If you mostly do Gossip Girl videos, try doing a HP vid. Your subscribers should be able to identify/like your video regardless of what fandom it is.+ Vid a couple you dislike. If you always make Brooke/Lucas vids, try submitting a Lucas/Peyton vid. No one will suspect it's yours.+ Vid a different genre. If you tend to vid happy shipper videos, try submitting a dark and angsty character study.+ Do exactly what you always do. People will think that the answer is "too obvious", second guess themselves and assume that it's not yours for that reason ;D**Suggestions for Contestants:A contest should be challenging, but not too challenging, right? So here's some things you can do to:You could possibly...+ Watch the videos of all the vidders that are participating, in order to familiarize yourself with their style.+ Watch for transitions -- hard cuts, fades, blurs, etc. Vidder's usually have a preference as to what type of transitions they like to use. Paying attention to something like that could give you insight into which vidder edited that particular video.+ Watch the effects -- overlays, split screen, still images. Every vidder has tendencies towards certain effects. Paying attention to these could also give away who the vidder is.+ Do not...badger the vidders to give you a clue as to which video is theirs. After a year of delay, "24" will be back packed with action and explosions in the new season which will air in January next year. A trailer from the seventh volume has been released, showing what Jack Bauer has to face this time in the 24 hours of his life as U.S. government's agent.As seen in the trailer, the new episode will see how Bauer finds out that his former CTU partner Tony Almeida is brought back from the dead but is resurrected for the other side. Almeida becomes someone who wants to help a terrorist organization taking control of the U.S. power. Bauer, standing in a trial also has to answer some questions related to human rights violations. Meanwhile, Chloe tones it down, declaring that she wants to be a stay home mom.The trailer also gives glimpses of Jonas, the new character played by Jon Voight who as the head of private military company involved in the conflict, becomes the villain in this season.The seventh volume of "24" was supposed to be premiered in January this year but the writers strike has prevented the show from being carried on. The plot line then was being redrawn and filming was shut down after a few episodes. FOX will now broadcast it in January but, prior to that, they will present a TV movie called "24: Redemption" which will serve as the bridge between the sixth and seventh season.
