It's in your earBerating you for trying so hard on your assignmentsWhat's the point in it anyways? He hisses that into you constantly. OftenYou will shrug and tell him you don't knowBut there is one. You tell him thatYou are creating meaning in a meaningless worldOr rather, perhaps it simply seems meaninglessAnd you are contributing to the history of the universeWith every small action you take.Most of the time, he grumbles and shuts up after that,Annoyed with your insistence towards self discoveryHe does make a truthful argument, however,When he tells you how much easier your life would beIf nothing had a reason to it, and it just was.And yet, how trivial, how mundane life seemsWithout enchantment, it would be a false assurance; the belief that God is everything,or the belief that there is nothing,are incredibly similar when they induce the comfort of being all knowingand the line of extremity blurs; they become the same,and all Gods are Atheists too.
